Lessons

Every integrated horsemanship lesson is tailored to meet each individual human and horse wherever they are at. Lessons begin as soon as the student walks onto the farm, and they don’t end until they get in their car to head home. One-on-one (on-one, counting the horse) sessions with Julia, founder and head trainer with 5 years of teaching experience and 17 years of equine experience, include basic handling and husbandry skills, behavior, biomechanics, groundwork, liberty, and riding. At Esoteric Equestrian, students learn how to safely put the horse first and practice ethical care and training in all aspects of their interactions with the horses.

Private lessons are $60 and scheduled for one hour. Depending on the horse and human and the moment in time, the length of the session may vary.
Previous horse experience is not necessary, and people from all disciplines/backgrounds are welcomed and encouraged to be a part of our program.
Please come equipped with long pants and close-toed shoes. We have helmets of different sizes and various equipment. If you’d like to bring anything of your own, don’t hesitate to ask!
TRAINING
OFF-SITE – $65/SESSION
Will travel within 30 miles from our farm in West Ocala - for longer distances, additional rates will apply.
