Learn to Skate Classes at Skate A Way South
Please arrive on time to get skates laced up to have your skater ready to go.
- STAR 1 Class – The VERY BASICS are taught to get skaters rolling on their own using both skates (L/R).
- STAR 2 Class – SECONDARY SKILLS are taught to give a better understanding of the correct push technique, 1ft edges, stopping, corner X-overs and the BASICS to start skating backwards.
- STAR 3 Class – MID LEVEL to ADVANCED SKILLS and SUPER SKATER 2 test skills are taught along with "moves in the field" sequence step, 2ft. and 1ft. turns.
Private Lessons available on Saturday and Sundays.
Classes are taught by coach daNN. Over 40 years coaching all levels of the sport from the beginner level skater to the World Class Athlete.
