Fishing Derby

Fishing is Fun, and whether your kids are beginners or pros, they will have a great time at our annual fishing derby. Lake Lillian is stocked yearly to prepare for this event by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission with catfish and bass. Open to children ages 15 and under and held annually at Lake Lillian in April or May, this free event offers a morning of fishing with bait provided and prizes in two categories for biggest fish and most fish caught. We wrap the derby up with a free community cookout hosted by our Belleview Police Department. Participants must arrive at 8:30am for registration.
